   Check in

   At the entrance machine, enter your party size and take a number; you are called to a counter or booth.

   Order at your seat

   Order on the touch panel (multilingual, with photos) and it arrives on an express lane. You can also grab plates passing on the belt.

   Price by plate

   The plate color/pattern sets the price (often from 110 yen). A chart at the table shows colors and prices.

   Tea and extras

   Powdered green tea + hot water is self-serve. Ginger, soy sauce, and wasabi are at the table.

   Pay

   Press the call button or drop plates in the counter slot; the total is counted by plate. Pay at the register. (At Kura Sushi, every 5 plates triggers a "Bikkura Pon" game.)
